Fall in full swing

Cool breezes have begun to find a place in our days colored in hues of beautiful yellows, oranges and red. Quietly and gently fall is settling in. I LOVE this time of year. It is a time to try all of those new soup recipes we find on Facebook and Instagram filling our homes with aromas that we can’t resist. It’s also the time when I can’t help myself going through my patterns and kitted up projects and choose sweet ornaments to stitch for grandchildren or work on a stocking. 
we are moving into the months where our needles become more a companion than the busy months of summers warmth. I look forward to that, do you?? I welcome the seasons change, and I hope you do as well. As pumpkin patches begin to grow on our linen and the sun wains softly at an earlier hour of the day than usual, I wish you many happy stitches!!
